The Alberta Securities Commission is Alberta's government securities regulator. I ran paid media for two of their brands simultaneously - the Alberta Securities Commission's enforcement awareness campaigns and CheckFirst.ca's consumer investor education platform - across Google Ads and StackAdapt programmatic.
How
Every time the commission published a new enforcement action, fraud alert, or investor education piece, I built ad campaigns around it - clearing every creative against both government compliance standards and platform-specific advertising policies before anything went live. I strategically reallocated budget throughout the year to optimize for conversions - landing page views and PDF downloads that fed directly into the commission's event registration pipeline. The result was more reach and better engagement than the prior year, at a lower cost per conversion.
